A Family’s Triumph: Completing The Colorado Trail

Family on summit of San

Van Zweden Kids' Journal CoverKids' Journal, Great Story of their Family Hike

In 2011, Roy Van Zweden and three of his boys hiked nearly 500 miles across the Rocky Mountains on The Colorado Trail . . . quite an accomplishment. Jonas (8), Miles (10) and Eli (12) had a lot of fun and kept a daily journal.  They've shared it with us, thankfully, because it's a 'good read.'

In Fall, 2011, Roy and boys teamed up with the CTF and presented their story at REI stores in the Denver area.  Attendees enjoyed these and found them informative.  The Van Zwedens may do additional presentations in Spring, 2012.
